Aye Well handicapped to strike again at Wetherby
1pt win at 7-1 generally
Doctor Phoenix probably has the most potential of these, but did not look well handicapped on his last two starts and while this is arguably easier, he looks short enough.
Aye Well is the old man of the party, but he has been rather generously treated by the handicapper as he's now back to the same mark as when a runaway scorer by 12 lengths at Kelso in March.
That's only three starts ago and Aye Well was entitled to need his run when fifth to Imjoeking at Kelso just under three weeks ago, his first run in six months.
The runner-up that day was also trained by Stuart Coltherd and has won since, and Aye Well was dropped 4lb and now has Sam Coltherd taking off another 7lb.
He's a course winner who, if fit enough now, is definitely handicapped to go in again.
