Who Dares Wins in frame for Ascot
Who Dares Wins earned a crack at the valuable Wessex Youth Trust Handicap Hurdle at Ascot on December 17 after winning last weekend.
Who Dares Wins: Will go to Ascot next
The race, formerly known as The Ladbroke, became a viable target for the Alan-King-trained four-year-old after he scooted nine lengths clear in the Gerry Feilden at Newbury.
Owned by Henry Ponsonby, Who Dares Wins won the Grade Two Summit Hurdle at Doncaster last season and has been raised 9lb for his Newbury romp.
"I thought he was well-in off 140 and so it proved," said Ponsonby.
"He's gone up 9lb for that, having gone up a 1lb for his first run at Chepstow when a close fourth to Ballyoptic.
"He can still improve his jumping, he wasn't very fluent at the last at Newbury.
"He'll go for the Wessex Youth Trust Handicap, which used to be the Ladbroke, and I think Ascot, and the way that race is run, will really suit him."
