Yala Enki lands Whittle gamble
Jockey Charlie Deutsch was proud of Yala Enki after Venetia Williams' inmate excelled in the 32Red.com Tommy Whittle Handicap Chase at Haydock Park.

The 3/1 favourite dominated for a long way and was eight lengths too good for Vieux Lille, with Kayfleur another nine lengths away in third.
Deutsch said: "He's done it quite well. We turned into the straight and he quickened away.
"I had a look after the last and saw how well clear we were.
"I was in front most of the way and with a circuit to go never saw anything else. He was very slick, jumping wise.
"He handled the ground well. It's quite tiring out there."
Speaking from Ascot, Williams added: "I can't tell you much because I couldn't see much but I'm very pleased.
"We did actually have him in at Ascot (Lavazza Jolie Silver Cup Handicap Chase) until the beginning of the week, but because Tenor Nivernais hadn't run earlier because of the dry conditions, he was going to come here.
"It was a slightly easier test for Yala Enke and it is a prestigious little race in its own right.
"There are no plans for him as yet."
