The Clyde Valley raider, who has won his last five races, faces ten rivals in the Racing UK HD Handicap Chase over three miles.

Young, based at Crossford, said of his stable star: "He's been in the form of his life and good, sound ground is the key to him.

"He's in grand fettle and very well and I honestly don't know how long he can keep on winning.

"He's a got a big weight, 12st 1lb including his penalty for winning at Ayr on Saturday but he has raced off higher marks when he was in Ireland. I said before Saturday that not many horses win five-in-a-row so what I can about this time!"

Among the opposition is Boss In Boots, trained in South Glamorgan by Tim Vaughan and Lucinda Russell's Rivabodiva.

The first race of the East Lothian track's autumn season sees seven runner line up for the Handicap Hurdle and they include recent Uttoxeter winner Nafaath, trained by Donald McCain.
